Creating a New
Company
Amortization Plus makes it easy to create a new
company file where you can then enter loan or
annuity terms to calculate principle and
interest payments. Just click the "Add"
option located on the "Clients" screen and enter
the pertinent company information. Amortization Plus
also allows you to create loan amortization
schedules without having to enter any company
information by using the "Quick Amortization"
feature. If you want to save any loan
amortization or annuity schedules for clients,
you will have to add the client to A+. See the screen shot
below to see what the "New Company" wizard looks
like.

Managing your company files is easy through
the Clients option found in the File Menu. After creating company
files in Amortization Plus, they are automatically
added to the your Client File Listing. In
addition, you can edit, rename, copy, save
as..., or delete these files at any time through
the Client File Listing.

Creating a Loan Amortization Schedule
To create a loan amortization schedule in
Amortization Plus, simply select the
"Amortization" option located in the Client
Schedules menu and begin entering the data for
the loan. See the screen shot below to view a
sample of the data entry screen for loan
amortization schedules.

You can enter as
many loan or annuity schedules in A+ as you
like. You can also modify the terms of any loan
and make balloon-type payments to recalculate
the new terms of a loan.

Creating an Annuity Schedule
To enter the terms of an annuity to create a
time value of money schedule, simply select the
"Annuity - Time Value of Money" option located
in the "Client Schedules" menu. Next, click the
"Add" button and enter any pertinent data for
the annuity. See the screen shot below for an
example of what this screen looks like.

In addition to
creating loan amortization and annuity
schedules, Amortization Plus also allows you to
enter information for lump-sum deposits to
calculate present and future values. To enter a
lump-sum deposit, click the "Lump-Sum Deposit"
option located under the Client Schedules menu.

- Amortization Schedules

- Annuity Schedules

- 5-Year Loan Analysis Report
In addition to printing reports, you can save
them to a file or email them directly from
within Amortization Plus in the following formats:
- Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)
- MS Word (.doc)
- MS Excel (.xls)
- Rich Text Format (.rtf)
- Plain Text Format (.txt)
- .html and .xml Formats

In
addition to these reports, Amortization Plus can chart
your loan amortization schedules or annuity
schedules. Simply
select the Chart option by clicking the Chart
button in the loan amortization schedules or
annuity schedules. The chart option will guide you
through the steps necessary to create a visual
representation of any loan or annuity schedule entered in
Amortization
Plus.
